Roberta Mollica is of Counsel to Carnelutti Law Firm, with considerable experience in media & entertainment law.
In particular, she advises clients on regulatory issues, such as digital, satellite and cable, via Internet broadcasting, as well as advertising and communication, including through social media.
She also advises on contractual matters, both in commercial law – product placement agreements, sponsorships, advertising, event and concert organization, and e-commerce – and in copyright and image law – assignment of rights, licensing of rights, film and television production and distribution agreements, publishing agreements, influencer marketing agreements.
Over the years Roberta has provided assistance in institutional relations with Ministries and in administrative proceedings before the Independent Authorities (Agcom and Agcm), advised various television broadcasters with negotiating audio-visual rights concerning images of competitions organized by Lega Calcio Serie A and Lega Calcio Serie B as well as with negotiating SIAE (Italian Copyright Agency), SCF (Responsible in Italy for collecting and distributing royalties for the use in public of recorded music) and Nuovo IMAIE (Institute for the protection of Artists and Performers’ Rights) licenses.
She assisted many TV broadcaster in the passage from analogical television system to the digital one.
She is fluent in English in addition to her native Italian.
