Valentina Zanelli is a partner in CARNELUTTI Law Firm. She is a member of the firm's corporate and M&A department, where her practice mainly focuses on domestic and cross-border deals, commercial transactions, general corporate assistance and competition.
She advises companies and private equity funds in the fields of corporate law and securities, including mergers, acquisitions, asset deals, joint ventures, winding-up procedures, shareholders' agreements and corporate governance. Valentina has significant experience in domestic and international franchise, distribution and other commercial agreements.
She graduated cum laude from the University of Piacenza. Following her graduation, she earned her master's degree at the George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C..
Valentina is an assistant professor in commercial law at the University of Milan. She is the author of articles published in national law journals, as well as international publications. She is a frequent speaker at conferences on Italian commercial law.
Valentina was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2006 and is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and of the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA).
Valentina is fluent in English and French, in addition to her native Italian.

On 18 and 19 January 2021, Carlo Emanuele Rossi and Valentina Zanelli gave a lecture on Limited Liability Companies, within the Master in Business Law ("Master Diritto e Impresa") organised by 24Ore Business School.
